Questions & AnswersAsk a Question
Do you sell just parts for your fountains?
Please contact us directly at email@example.com for a availability/quotes on fountain parts.
1) How many pieces in stack-up. Is caulking required between levels? 2) What pump size is recommended? I have a 500 GPH pump with low water shut-off. Would that do the job? 3) Is cast stone same as cement cast?
1) 8 pieces total make up this fountian. See parts breakdown below. We do not recommend using caulking between each level. The plumbing through the middle, and the weight of each piece will keep the fountain together.
2) A 450GPH pump is included with the fountain.
3) Yes, these features are made of cast stone/concrete.

It is very important for you to protect your cast stone and pottery fountains, birdbaths, planters and statuary from the freeze-thaw cycle during the winter months. Ideally, cast stone and pottery décor that can collect water, should not be left outside when temperatures dip down to freezing. They should be stored indoors or in a dry protected place such as a covered porch or garage that is away from the elements. This is not always possible, so it is recommended that you completely dry out your décor and add a waterproof cover. This is because any cast stone or pottery component that can hold water and freeze has the potential to crack and crumble. Components such as fountain pedestals which remain in a basin/pool can also crack or crumble.
