Murcia Planter Bowl with Leaves Specifications:
- Dimensions: 26"L x 26"W x 8"H
- Weight: 75 lbs.
As you can probably derive from its name, the Murcia Planter Bowl with Leaves is a low-rising cast stone masterpiece adorned with leaf carvings. Rising a mere eight inches off the ground, this piece can be placed virtually anywhere and is perfect for housing a variety of plants from simple ferns, cacti and succulents to plants that grow long tendrils that will hang over its rim. Available in 12 distinct patinas that you can choose from, the Murcia Planter Bowl with Leaves can also be mounted on a pedestal or placed on a ledge to bring it to a more fetching height.
In the winter, if a planter is to remain planted, they should be raised up off the ground making sure not to block the drainage hole. This allows the planter to drain and will prevent the planter from freezing to the ground. If the planter is not to be planted, it should be brought inside to a garage or shed. If this is not possible, follow the steps above, but turn the planter upside down to prevent it from filling with snow and ice. It should then be covered or wrapped with burlap or any absorbent material (old blanket/towel) and then wrapped with dark plastic to prevent it from accumulating moisture.
